Yeah, you read that right. Don’t screw with toddlers or they’ll mess you up!
Here’s what happened.
A two year old Chinese girl with the innocent nickname of Niu Niu was alone in an apartment on the 10th floor because her grandmother, who was taking care of her, left to run some errands.
Now, you know how children are. They want to explore everything. So the two year old climbed one of the apartment’s windows to check out the city view and surprise surprise, she ended up swinging on the window.
That’s when a 31-year-old baseball catcher mother who was passing by saw her, and as soon as she noticed the girl is about to fall she “kicked off her high-heeled shoes” and ran to catch the child.
It was so urgent. I saw her when she was about to fall and rushed there, and after tens of seconds she fell off. I thought to myself ‘I should stretch my arms to her. Because I am right here, I must get her.’ Then I made it. I caught her in my arms.
The impact broke the woman’s left arm and knocked her out, but the child survived the fall and later hospital scans showed no signs of brain injury. However, she is in critical condition with internal bleeding which is a sign of possible injury to other organs.
Even so, that woman must be feeling like a real heroine for doing what she did! Without her that baby wouldn’t have had a single chance.
