Remember Pastor Terry Jones, the Florida shitbag who was seeking cheap publicity last year by trying to organize an international “burn a Koran (Qur’an) day?” He’s back in the news again, this time because he might have caused the slaughter of 10 United Nations employees in Afghanistan.
Even though his piece of shit church canceled its “burn a Koran day” last year, apparently they couldn’t help themselves and burned a Koran after a ceremony two weeks ago, on March 20. “We put the Koran on trial and we did burn it,” says church assistant Fran Ingram.
I haven’t heard a single thing about the Mar. 20 Koran burning until today, but Afghan Muslims heard about it sooner and they weren’t happy. So after today’s Friday prayers a crowd of around 20,000 people showed its anger by attacking the headquarters of the United Nations in northern Afghanistan, overwhelming police forces, security guards, and leaving 10 U.N. workers dead.
Mr. Ahmadzai, the police spokesman, said the demonstrators were angry about the burning of the Koran at the church of Pastor Terry Jones on Mar. 20.
After disarming or shooting the United Nations compound’s guards, the crowd surged inside. Mr. Ahmadzai said that eight of the foreign staff workers, whose nationalities were not known immediately, were killed by gunfire, and that two others were captured by the mob and beheaded. Other reports said that the operations center was burned down as well.
Who wants to guess what would happen if that angry mob ever sees this cartoon (don’t kill me, I didn’t draw it)? And how the hell is Islam a religion of peace if innocent people lose their lives over a book burning they had no connection to?
