The movie is Cleaner, from 2007.

Not long after they suspended five air controllers for sleeping on the job, The Federal Aviation Administration has discovered yet another embarrassing incident.

On Sunday morning, a controller handling high-altitude air traffic at the regional radar center in Oberlin, Ohio, accidentally activated his microphone while watching a Samuel L. Jackson flick and broadcasted audio of the movie for more than 3 minutes. During that time (because his microphone was in the transmit position) he couldn’t receive any transmissions from the planes he was supposed to be monitoring.

Both the controller and his manager have since been promoted to full time movie-buffs. At home.

The positive thing about this incident is the fact that the guy was watching “Cleaner” and not “Snakes on a Plane.” Who knows what pilots would have done if they heard the controller’s audio feed instructing them to “clear the snakes out of the cockpit.”
