Pro-democracy protesters on the streets of Algiers, Algeria.
Following the examples of Tunisia and Egypt, Algerian pro-democracy demonstrators are marching in capital Algiers demanding “change in the system.” Fearing an encore of the situation in Egypt, the police are set to do everything in their power to stop the protesters – some say 1,000 demonstrators have been arrested and others beaten.
Very curious to see how this situation evolves.
