A 59-year-old guy threatened bank workers that he will detonate the bomb he had in his backpack if he didn’t receive $2,000. But the bank manager tried to convince him that a loan is a better option for him than a robbery, and what do you know, the man accepted to sit down and take out a loan.

But while he waited for the loan paperwork, the manager called emergency services and got him arrested.

What should you take away from this story? Two things. First, bank managers shouldn’t be trusted. And second, people are desperate.

Maybe a third thing too, nothing really important is happening today.
