The trial of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi on charges of sex with a minor and abuse of power opened yesterday in Milan. The 74-year-old is accused of paying an underage hooker for sex at his villa and then abusing (semantics) his power to cover the whole thing up.
Xinhua News Agency reports that the trial only lasted 7 minutes. Now that may seem like a short time for you and me, but some would beg to differ. Berlusconi still wishes he could have lasted that long with Ruby. At least that would have made all this trouble somewhat worth it.
