It happened in the UK. A black couple, Ben and Angela, had a white baby girl with blonde hair and blue eyes.

And she’s not albino, she’s simply white. Like, Caucasian white.

If your reaction is “what the flip?” you’re not alone, because that was also the reaction of her father. Not because he thought his wife cheated on him and he was so full of wild rage he could have killed a bear with his bare hands while sailing across the Pacific ocean, but because it’s, you know, something quite shocking and hard to believe.

“My wife is true to me. Even if she hadn’t been, the baby still wouldn’t look like that.”

According to The Sun:

Professor Bryan Sykes, head of Human Genetics at Oxford University and Britain’s leading expert, yesterday called the birth “extraordinary”.

He said: “In mixed race humans, the lighter variant of skin tone may come out in a child – and this can sometimes be startlingly different to the skin of the parents.

Given that this kind of extraordinary gene mixing is possible, I wonder how long it’s gonna be until someone has a Superman baby that can fly around and save people who are in trouble (excluding Lindsay Lohan). I guess time will tell.

Back to this incredible story though, anyone want to take bets about who’s gonna be the odd one out of this family? haha
