In a spectacular show of stupidity, British broadcaster ITV has made a documentary about Gaddafi’s links with the IRA and used video game footage to illustrate the connection. No, this wasn’t one of those dramatic recreations, the narrator actually called it “the terrorist’s own footage” and the show’s editor labeled it as archive video.
And they say gamers can’t discern between what’s fantasy and what’s real . . .
“With Gaddafi’s heavy machine guns, it was possible to shoot down a helicopter, as the terrorist’s own footage of 1988 shows.”
