"We spaced on the date maaannnn!"
California’s Proposition 19, which aimed to legalize cannabis use for recreational purposes and allow local governments to regulate and tax those activities, has been rejected by voters. And even though I don’t live in California, or even the U.S. for that matter, it’s still a disappointing outcome. Because of California’s role as a massive culture exporter through Hollywood, the state has an important influence worldwide. And if weed was to be legalized there, it would have been an important step towards doing the same in other countries around the world too.
Better luck next time.
