Just like in the case of computer hackers, offline thieves are also in it for the money (duh, right?). And when talking about cars, they usually make that money by reselling the car. What makes a vehicle attractive for thieves is of course the price of the model and the resale ease & value.

So if you’ve got a decent vehicle, how do you protect it? First thought is of course an expensive car alarm. And that might work sometimes.

But what’s equally good, or probably better, is an obvious detail.
