Kentucky church bans interracial marriage

In a world where more and more people are slowly beginning to accept same sex marriage and see it as something normal, there are still some who frown at the sight of interracial couples. It’s embarrassing for our species, really.

The Gulnare Free Will Baptist church in Pike County, Kentucky, has banned interracial couples from joining its congregation after Stella Harville, long time church member, invited her Zimbabwe-born fiance to attend church with her.

The ban on interracial couples was proposed by a former pastor and passed this week with a 9-6 vote in its favor.

Guess the white people in that church felt intimidated by the black guy’s huge d, uh, faith.

FindHisPorn.com empowers stupid women, ruins relationships

Apparently porn is such a relationship breaker that women should install monitoring software on their partner’s PC. You know, just to make sure they haven’t been cheated on with Russian midgets or something.

FindHisPorn.com is a website that will search his computer for questionable sleaze and make you a comprehensive list of it — for only $19.95, limited time offer! Here’s their presentation video:

If you’re tempted to use this crap, don’t. Just communicate like adult people instead. If that’s not possible, you’re in a dead relationship and should just pack up and leave.

Pepper spray inventor regrets his work

Kamran Loghman, the man who invented modern pepper spray and developed police procedures for its use, is regretting his work. This really sucks, because the guy was trying to do a good thing with it.

It is becoming more and more fashionable right now, this day and age, to use chemical on people who have an opinion. And that to me is a complete lack of leadership both in the police department and other people who cannot really deal with the root of the problem and they want to spray people to quiet them down. And it’s really not supposed to be that. It’s not a thing that solves any problem nor is it something that quiets people down.

Kamran thought his invention would save lives by giving law enforcement another method of dealing with aggressive people. It offered an alternative to the use of night sticks or deadly force. Unfortunately, people still got shot like they always did and the ones who wouldn’t have been shot or physically harmed are now getting pepper sprayed instead.

Woman held against her will on Scientology cruise ship for 12 years

It looks like Tom Cruise is gonna be in big trouble this time. Get it? Tom Cruise. Cruise ship.

Anyway, with that out of my system, the news story is about Valeska Paris, a girl born into a Scientology family.

When she was 17, one year after joining the Church’s elite Sea Organisation, her mother quit the group because the husband committed suicide and blamed the Church of Scientology for his action. To prevent the mother from pulling Paris out of the group with her, Scientologist leader David Miscavige ordered the girl to be taken on the Church’s cruise ship, “The Freewinds,” for two weeks.

But instead of a two weeks cruise, the girl ended up living there against her will for 12 years. For the first six years she was unable to leave the ship without an official Scientology escort, and she was sometimes forced into hard labor in the ship’s engine room. Escaping the ship was impossible, as “they take your passport when you go on the ship” and the vessel’s cruising itinerary consists mostly of small islands in the Caribbeans.

The Church of Scientology is denying Paris’ claims, but a former senior executive on the Freewinds, Ramana Dienes-Browning, says she too was once held against her will on the ship and suffered abuse.

Can someone remind me why Scientology still exists and its leaders haven’t been jailed yet?

Man who massacred over 70 people in Norway is ‘not accountable for attacks’

According to a report by two forensic psychiatrists who evaluated Anders Behring Breivik, the man who massacred over 70 people in Norway on July 22, Breivik is “not accountable for attacks” because “he is insane. He lives in his own delusional universe and his thoughts and acts are governed by this universe.”

The conclusion was based on the grandiose nature of Breivik’s thoughts, who saw himself as a knight with the right to choose who lives and who dies. In addition to that, he was planning to run breeding projects on Norwegians after becoming the regent of Norway. His speech also was showing signs of incoherence.

Breivik’s official diagnosis is paranoid schizophrenia, and if the court will uphold it then Breivik cannot be sentenced to prison for the attacks. Instead, he will be locked away in a mental institution for an indefinite amount of time, possibly until he dies.

Anyway, it’s refreshing to see a justice system where revenge isn’t the motivating factor for punishment.
