They just can't help it.
I don’t know what’s going on but Catholic priests seem to be getting a lot crazier lately. Take John M. Fiala for example. He used to be a normal priest in a rural parish west of San Antonio, until in 2008 he raped a kid at gunpoint. Fucked up, I know, but it gets worse. The boy accused him of sexual molestation and the priest didn’t really appreciate it. So in order to get rid of the kid’s accusations, Fiala tried to recruit his neighbor (who he didn’t even know) to kill the teenager for him in exchange for $5,000. Whoa…
Thankfully, the neighbor wasn’t insane and alerted the authorities. The former priest is now in jail with a bail of $700,000, but his messed up story will live on – hopefully it won’t inspire other priests to do the same.
The Pope should stop kissing young boys and get on top of the abuses going on in his church.
