Recent estimates by various “experts” say the Mubarak family could have as much as $70 billion stashed away from the eyes of the world. If true, that makes the Egyptian president the richest man in the world, ahead of the Mexican business magnate Carlos Slim Helu ($53,5 billion) and Microsoft’s Bill Gates ($53 billion). But unless Mubarak secretly sold the pyramids and the sphinx, those estimates are hard to believe – since they’re essentially nothing more than guesses.
Meanwhile, mass protests continue.
