Because TEPCO may need to pay claims of $50 billion to those affected by the damage at their Fukushima nuclear power plant, the company has decided to stop paying it’s chairman, president and six executive vice presidents. Starting this month they’ll be receiving 0 pay, while other directors at the company will have their pay cut by 60 percent.
