The Huffington Post writes that Facebook is moving forward with a plan that expands the information you are able to share with third parties to include your address and mobile number. They say this could be useful if you want to “easily share your address and mobile phone with a shopping site to streamline the checkout process, or sign up for up-to-the-minute alerts on special deals directly to your mobile phone (text spam?).”
Go ahead and delete your phone number and home address from Facebook while there’s still time.
