Even though it was just last week that he was threatening to attack Europe with bees and locusts, envoys sent by Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi are now signaling that he is prepared to leave his position of power.
French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said in a radio interview that France has had contacts with Libyan messengers who told them “Gaddafi is prepared to leave. Let’s discuss it.”
Let’s hope this is real and Gaddafi isn’t just planning an M. Night Shyamalan twist.
