The NYTimes.com writes that the Food and Drug Administration is seriously considering whether to approve the first genetically engineered animal that people would eat — salmon that can grow at twice the normal rate.
Reports say they have 3 eyes, 2 arms, 2 legs, drive Cadillacs and smoke Gurkha Black Dragon cigars.

I am kidding of course. But by the time they get approved, with the care most of us show for the environment, I wouldn’t be surprised if they would mutate and turn against the human race. Can you imagine that? Mutant fish that grow twice as fast and beat up humans with baseball bats. Sort of like in this cheap Syfy flick.
