Update: Turns out that wasn’t her after all. According to the Sarajevo-based animal rights group SOS, the girl in the video is fom Bugojno, a town in Bosnia, and it was filmed by her brother. via nydailynews

Two days ago a video showing a dumb bitch girl gleefully throwing puppies in a river made the internet angry, prompting the 4chan /b/ board to “Find this dumb little bitch and throw her into a river.” And what do you know, the internet works in mysterious ways and her identity is believed to have been discovered. PETA has gotten in on the action too and offered a $2k reward for any information leading to this girl and her sick videographer.

PETA is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for drowning a litter of helpless puppies in the video above. Members of 4chan were able to track down the owner of the Bosnian YouTube account that originally uploaded the video and we currently have six possible leads, but the identity of the girl has yet to be confirmed. If you have information regarding this case, please contact PETA’s Cruelty Investigations Department.

I was never a big fan of PETA, but I have to give it to them this time. Hopefully her identity will be confirmed soon and she’ll get what’s coming for her. That might sound cruel, but it’s what happens when you record and post such a video online just to show that you can kill puppies.

She is INNOCENT as confirmed by the German police. She is under the protection of the police while they are investigation the death threats, slander & libel.

    If you give proper VERIFICATION that Katja did that, you can leave it.
    As long as you don’t come up with proper verfication from some official side (police,…) or some MAJOR newsnetwork your statement are only rumors and considered lible and slander.

    That’s what I’m thinking, too.
    The MAJOR German newspapers I read about that case do not mention a syllable about that rumor.
    One is considered a “serious” media, they would not withold info like that,
    the other is more tabloid and would have a field day, if it is true and they did not mention it either.
    My conclusion: more slandering of the poor girl who already has her name ruined for ages at any Google search and currently has to hide out at a secret place under police protection.

    Not to be offensive or anything, but if your context comprehension skills would be better you would be able to realize that since there is an update at the top of the page saying it’s not her, all the post says is that at one point it was believed she was the one, but later it was discovered that she wasn’t.

    That being said, I’m not debating removing her name. It stays there.
