Today Google introduced what they call “Google Instant.” It is basically the same old awesome way to search, but with the search results instantly updating as you type. Here’s their introductory video:
It is an awesome update for the most part, but it has a major flaw. It doesn’t work for porn or porn-related keywords (even with SafeSearch off)! You still have to press “enter” or click the search button to get those results to show. And everyone knows you’re probably only using one hand when searching for that kind of stuff, so the instant results would have been most welcome for those users.
If you have Google Instant you can try it yourself. Just google “asian porn” or whatever else you want that’s porn-related, and you’ll see it never instantly updates those results.
So what’s up with that, Google? Everyone knows the internet is for porn.
Note: Google Instant is rolling out over several days to users signed in to a Google Account. Keep checking Google.com if you are signed in and do not see it yet.
