It really is amazing!

Announced in March 2009 by Dr. Stephen Wolfram and released to the public on May 15, 2009, Wolfram Alpha is a web resource that’s probably almost as useful as Google – although in a different way. It is an engine that computes user questions and provides them with factual expert answers. You can use it to solve equations, compute growth charts and mortgages, get salary data for a given profession, compute the current value of a historical quantity of money, compute the orbital period of a massive body orbiting another and pretty much anything else you might want a factual answer for.

In case you’re wondering how smart the engine really is, it can tell you how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Give it a try: www.wolframalpha.com.

You’re welcome.
