On the 17th day of protests, the secretary general of Egypt’s National Democratic Party has told the BBC he “hopes” that President Hosni Mubarak will transfer power to the newly appointed Vice-President, Omar Suleiman.
If that comes to happen, the Egyptian people will probably have a new mission: get Omar Suleiman to step down.
