Simpsons Banksy intro.
In case you’re not watching The Simpsons, last night’s couch gag/title scene was probably one of the best they’ve had. It was storyboarded and directed by UK graffiti artist Banksy and it shows dozens of sweatshop workers in a warehouse painting cartoon cells and making Simpsons merchandise.
What was the inspiration for it? Reports the show outsources the bulk of their animation to a company in South Korea (you too, Simpsons?).
