The Iranian president says the octopus is guilty of spreading "western propaganda and superstition."
This man has lost it. While I sort of agree with him on the fact that the octopus has been used to spread superstition, the other accusation is just downright silly (ok, it’s stupid). How can an animal be guilty of political actions?
Or maybe if he really believes the octopus is being so political, he should ask its keepers to make it predict whether Iran will be invaded or not. Now that would be political – and controversial!
