Even though Google has said Plus will never be discontinued like Wave was because they’re determined to make it work, comparing the search volume trends of the two services reveals some worrying similarities.
Now of course search volumes don’t tell the whole story, but given the number of people who’ve already lost interest in Google+ it looks like the service has lost most of its momentum.
Oh Google, when will you learn to promote your stuff? Your search promotes itself because it’s a brilliant tool that performs infinitely better than any competing service, but Google+ doesn’t solve any real problems and nobody wants to be on two networks at the same time.
