What’s worse than being caught in the powerful, chaotic waters of a tsunami? Being caught in them while you’re sitting in a tiny capsule with four other people.

The Noah capsule designed by Japan’s Cosmo Power looks like it could potentially save some lives during future tsunamis, but in a way it’s kind of like attempting to spare a wet cat the horrors of the hairdryer by throwing it into the clothes dryer instead.

It does look like a really safe spot to crawl into during earthquakes, though.
