Scientists at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) are preparing for something exciting – creating a mini Big Bang. And they really mean the mini part of it.
The dense ball of energy they want to create will only exist for less than a trillionth of a trillionth of a second, although it’s temperature will reach over ten trillion degrees (a million times hotter than the center of the Sun).
