An experimental study conducted by researchers at Indiana University reports that men don’t take sexually attractive female anchors seriously. Who’d have thunk it?
The research has found that:
- Men find sexually appealing news anchors “less suited for war and political reporting;”
- Men remember less of the information presented by sexy anchors;
- Female viewers are not biased by the sexual appeal of female anchors;
- Female viewers remember more of the information presented by sexy anchors.
