According to Citi analyst Walter Pritchard, Microsoft has made five times more money with Android phones than it did with its own Windows Phone. He says that’s thanks to a patent settlement over intellectual property infringement which is giving Microsoft $5 for every HTC phone running Android. And things could get even rosier as Microsoft is preparing lawsuits against other Android phone makers too.
