Guess the brand.

The fact that Apple fanboys/fangirls obsess over all things Apple and love throwing money at them is no secret to anyone. Apple is of course taking advantage of the fact ($30 rubber case for the iPhone 4, so it can be used as a functional phone), and so are many other smart entrepreneurs (there are lots of accessories and stuff for everything Apple).

But the thing that shows off what Apple lovers are made of is that they are willing to pay to use a dating site specifically designed for them. Meet Cupidtino.

Cupidtino is a beautiful new dating site created for fans of Apple products by fans of Apple products. Why? Diehard Mac & Apple fans often have a lot in common – personalities, creative professions, a similar sense of style and aesthetics, taste, general douchebagness and a love for technology.

The site launched last month and already has over 22,000 douchebags users and is scoring 5 digit revenues. Signing up is free, but exchanging messages costs $4.79 a month.

Of course, the site contains the classical stuff that someone would associate with Apple, like colors, logos, buttons and the now famous “designed & created in California” line.

I think the main idea behind the site is to keep the Apple fanboy genes in the “family,” in the hopes of creating a new race that will eventually take over the world. But that’s just my guess. There’s a small chance that I could be wrong.

And despite what I wrote above, I’m not hating Apple fanboys. They’re just fun to poke sticks at and I’m too weak to help it.
