A 16-month study ran by a team of Greek and Belgian researchers and published in the August issue of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery has found that out of all the people seeking nose jobs, 45% are suffering from BDD (body dysmorphic disorder), a mental illness marked by excessive concern over minor image flaws.
