Three weeks after the initial wave of Occupy Wall Street protesters slept in a park in New York’s financial district protesting against corporate greed, unemployment and inequality, the movement is seeing an explosive growth in the number of people who want to be part of it. And it’s not just an American thing. Canada, the UK, Germany, France, Sweden, Portugal, Italy and many other European countries are also planning to join the protests.

It’s good to see people all over the world stand up to injustice. Sure, coming out in the streets and talking about it is not enough to change things, and there’s no one to tell people where to go from there, but coming out in the streets is exactly how you begin to change something.

PS: This protest movement actually started with the Arab spring, from where it spread to Europe and then the US. It just has different names in each region.
