The latest initiative from terrorist organization PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals) is an attempt to update the Bible to be more “animal-friendly” and less “speciesist.”
They want translators of the New International Version to refer to animals as “he” or “she” instead of “it,” because they feel calling an animal “it” denies them something (humanity?). Kinda noble (in a crazy way) if you’re in lesbians with delicious animals, but the Bible’s Genesis 9:3 contains this irreparable tasty passage telling humans to nom on “everything that lives and moves.”
Oh snap PETA, bet you didn't know about that!
Come on PETA, I know you can do better than this. Attempting to remove “speciesist” language from the Bible is even lamer that that time you wanted to rename fish “sea kittens.”
