Madness-inducing miniskirt.

Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin, head of the Orthodox Church’s Synodal Department for Church and Society in mother Russia, has called for the creation of a “national dress code” that would force men and women to dress “properly” in public and require businesses to throw out “indecently” clad customers. The dress code would forbid men from wearing T-shirts or tracksuits in public and women from wearing miniskirts (as they cause “loneliness and madness”).

The church official believes women can’t be trusted to clothe themselves properly, and that the way they dress and behave in public places is not their “private matter.”

“It is wrong to think that women should decide themselves what they can wear in public places or at work. If a woman dresses like a prostitute, her colleagues must have the right to tell her that.”

“How women behave in public places, in educational establishments, in working places is not their “private matter.” By the way, it refers to men as well. A fellow dressed in shorts and T-shirt in a big city, sport trousers and slippers also doesn’t deserve respect. Only regret, if he is homeless.”

I have to admit I applaud this man’s views! Not because I agree with them, but because I believe they’re insane enough to scare people away from his church.
