The folks over at ivillage.com have scoured the web for scientific studies that would help women be more attractive when dating. As a man, this sparked my curiosity so I had to take a peek to see what women are doing to make themselves irresistible to me. You know, for science!

What I discovered was a decent list of 11 tips, backed by scientific studies, but I noticed that it was missing the most important tip of all. So I took the liberty of correcting their flawed list.

You’re welcome, ladies.

  1. Put on a red dress. Now take it off. Congratulations, he’s yours!
  2. Wear red lipstick.
  3. Smile.
  4. Laugh at his jokes.
  5. Mimic him (subtly).
  6. Talk in a higher pitch.
  7. Walk with a swaying gait.
  8. Don’t cry. Men hate the smell of tears.
  9. Tone your arms and show them off.
  10. When texting, use language similar to his.
  11. Men prefer women with normal body weight, so show off your curves if you have them.
