So apparently Steve “Turtleneck” Jobs visited Sony once and was so inspired by their uniforms that he tried to implement something similar for Apple. Fortunately, in Jobs’ own words, “everybody hated the idea.”
The uniform initially consisted of a vest designed by Issey Miyake, but I’m pretty sure Steve would have added a mandatory turtleneck if his employees accepted the vest. He probably would have called it the Appneck™.
