United Nations estimates say October 31 will be the day the world population will break the 7 billion mark, but that may already have happened – as statistics can only be so accurate.

And while the symbolic significance of this event is largely positive because it shows how well we’ve adapted to living on this planet, it’s rather scary, too. I mean, just ten or twelve years ago we broke the 6 billion record and now we’ve added another billion. This would have been great if resources scaled with the increase in population, but unfortunately that’s not the case and this growth is ridiculously unsustainable.

Now, I’m not saying that just because we’re running out of fossil fuels. Even though that is a real problem, the more worrying issue is that we may run out of phosphates and then it’s bye-bye food supply.

Thankfully, there’s a simple way to solve this population growth problem: Anal sex. Or birth control, if you prefer a less fun approach.
