Oh man… this story is one of those awesome cases in which reality beats the hell out of film.
It begins with Bishnu Shrestha, a 35-year-old retired Gurkha soldier from Nepal, riding a train. An ordinary train ride, until the man found himself in the middle of a robbery. A group of 40 thugs snatched cell phones, jewelry and cash from riders after which they tried to strip the 18-year-old girl sitting in front of him. The girl cried for help, saying “You are a soldier, please save a sister,” turning Shrestha into Chuck Norris. So he took out his khukari (sort of a knife) and attacked the group of 40, alone. In the fight, he killed 3 and injured 8 others before the remaining bandits ran for their lives.
