If you have $15,000 to spare, poor taste and an I.Q. lower than a Neanderthal, Dr Chandrashekhar Chawan and Sanjay Shah of Shekhar Eye Research would like to sell you some very special contact lenses.
Encrusted with 18 diamonds on a gold plate, their contact lenses are so extraordinary they can make anyone wearing them cry. Not because they can magically make people care deeply for the miserable working conditions in African diamond mines or because they make one aware of the piece of crap they spend a fortune on, but because wearing them implies putting the hardest natural material known to man on top of one of man’s most sensitive organs. Which, as you can imagine, is potentially dangerous and extremely painful.
The two designers say “only” 3,996 pairs of lenses will be created.
“People today like wearing diamonds on their teeth, so why not in the eye,” Shekhar Eye Research Managing Director, Chandrashekhar Chawan, told reporters here today.
BECAUSE PUTTING SHARP OBJECTS IN YOUR EYE IS A BAD IDEA!
