Created by C3 Technologies using technology originally developed to help missiles home in on targets, these computer-generated 3D city maps are the most incredible I’ve ever seen. They’re accurate down to 6 inches and make Google Earth’s photorealistic 3D buildings want to go hide in a dark corner and weep.
Also, unlike Google or Bing, these maps are 360° explorable and everything is mapped in mindboggling detail.
To see for yourself just how cool these maps are, head on over to Nokia’s mapping service. Nokia was the first to license C3′s 3D models and has 20 U.S. and European cities available for virtual visits.
PS: How long until Google buys them?
