According to Canadian scientists, the Timema stick insects (pictured above) haven’t gotten laid in over a million years.
The males of the species refused to get freaky with the females for so long that eventually the females began reproducing asexually by creating genetic clones of themselves, fact which led to the extinction of all the males.
And it’s not difficult to understand why the males chose death over sex. Just look at how ugly those females are.
And that, kids, is why humans invented clubs and alcohol.
