Sharp has just unveiled the world’s first UltraHD display, a 85-inch beast with a resolution of 7680×4320 (16 times that of an HDTV). Don’t expect it in your home anytime soon though, as there is no content for it and trial TV broadcasts using the new format are scheduled to begin in 2020 at the earliest. Not to mention the fact that at this point in time it would probably cost more than a luxury car.
