Not many people know how important camera operators are in video productions, or what kind of skills they need to get great shots. And that’s understandable, since they’re mostly hidden from sight behind their cameras. But you should know that camera operators are the unsung heroes of the video production world.

The steadicam operator in the video below is living proof of that.

Just to prove that fact, the Eurovision Song Contest held in 2009 in Moscow, got awarded one the most prestigious prizes in the professional world of cameramen. Namely, the Guild of Television Cameramen Worldwide gave Karsten Jacobsen the Award for Excellence 2009 for his work in Moscow. – Eurovision.tv
