Don't be fooled by the different angle, it's the same road.

The road above is in the care of one of the main operators of expressways and toll roads in Japan, The East Nippon Expressway Company Limited (NEXCO Higashi Nippon). The picture on the left shows the state of the road right after Friday’s earthquake, while the picture on the right shows the repair progress NEXCO has made in 3 days (assuming they started rebuilding it the day after the quake).

Living in a country where road (re)building is moving at a slower pace than cancer research, I must say this is quite incredible.

    haha, I know, I live there. “Working” on a road usually means there’s a bunch of guys eating sandwiches next to a “road under construction” sign.
