Video footage of the 33 miners trapped inside the collapsed gold and copper mine in Chile shows that they are in good spirits. That is despite having just been told that it could be as many as four months before they’re rescued and eating just two little spoonfuls of tuna, a sip of milk and a biscuit every 48 hours for two weeks.
Supplies and small games are now being lowered regularly to keep the miners in good health conditions. But what I think they really need is some computers with World of Warcraft on them. That’s the only thing that can make living four months in a hole that’s 700m underground bearable (and that’s a fact).
