YouTube has a whole lot of great videos (I may be exaggerating) but not many of them put things into perspective quite like this one does.

Watching it will make you wonder what you are doing with your life, contemplate the grandness of the universe, and probably lead you to realize how insignificant we all are in the grand scheme of things.

The timelapse has been created from a series of photos taken from a camera on the front of the International Space Station, and in case you’re not great with geography, the travel begins over the Pacific Ocean, continues over North and South America, and ends near Antarctica.

Oh and those blinking bright spots are thunderstorms.
