
In case your tinfoil hat has made you wonder why the White House didn’t release Osama Bin Laden’s death photo the night his death was announced, there’s a simple explanation: they considered it to be too gruesome for the public’s eyes.
US officials say the photo shows a precision shot above his left eye (which blew away part of his skull) and some shots to the chest. They also said the US has video footage of Osama’s burial at sea.
Both the video and the photographs of Bin Laden’s body could be released in the coming days.
