"Care for a drink of pissky? I made it myself."

If you hoped this was a sick joke, you’re not alone. But it’s real. They call it the Gilpin Family Whisky project, and it is a high end line of single malt whiskey made from the sugar-laden urine of people with diabetes. Yum?

Thankfully it won’t be made into a commercially available product line, but a tasting session will be set up at 100% Materials, a London design event. The thought of people drinking it is enough to gross the hell out of me.

And am I the only one thinking pissky is a more appropriate name for this whisky?
